Ronald Osumba

Chairman, Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF)

Ronald Osumba, an Associate of the Archbishop Tutu Fellowship Programme and an Aspen Institute Italia graduate, is the Chairman of the Youth Enterprise Development Fund. He has experience spanning over 12 years in the private sector working with various Blue Chip Companies as well as a rich Public Service experience. He has led highly successful teams in the areas of public policy, business development, thought- leadership, brand, relationship and financial management. Ronald serves as the Managing Partner at Emerald Africa Consulting, a public policy firm, and has had an exemplary career as Senior Manager for Government Relations at Safaricom Limited and until recently as Senior Technology Sales Manager for Public Sector at Oracle Corporation. He has worked with many Youth organizations, notably Kenya Model United Nations, Youth Agenda, and National Youth Convention amongst others. Ronald founded Onward Kenya, a Social Action platform rallying the Youth to organize for social Change. He chairs the Board of Youth Entrepreneurship and Sustainability (YES) Kenya and serves on the Managing Committee of Starehe Boys’ Centre where he also chaired the Alumni association. Here he led a host of industry captains, senior government officials and community leaders. As part of his commitment to youth and societal issues at large, Ronald also serves as the Chairman of the Uzima University Foundation and also as a Trustee of the University. A key player in the public sector, he became the youngest candidate for the office of Deputy President in Kenya’s General Elections 2013 substantially re-engineering political campaigning in Kenya. He is a strong advocate of efficient and accountable leadership rooted in social empathy.

Bianca Doenicke

Head of European Continuous Improvement & Sustainability, Haworth, Germany.

Bianca Donicke is a Sustainability, organizational development and project management professional with 13+ years of experience in the workspace design, energy and consulting business in Europe. She is currently the Head of European Continuous Improvement & Sustainability, Haworth. Bianca has been involved in various Social Responsibility and Sustainability Networks such as B.A.U.M. German Environmental Management Association and International Student-run Organization AIESEC, mainly in Germany. She studied Economic Sciences, Minor Ecology, at University of Oldenburg Germany, Managing Dynamic Organizations, University of Växjö, Sweden. She is passionate about initiating and implementing change in an international environment to drive sustainable business and development.

Dr. Othman Mujahid

Educationist, CVE Expert and Renowned Motivational Speaker.

Dr. Othman Mujahid is an Educator, Researcher, Author, Trainer and Consultant on conflict resolution, peace and preventing and countering violent extremism. He is also a renowned motivational and inspirational speaker. He obtained his PhD in Early Childhood Education from McGraw University in the USA. He studied and graduated with an MA degree in Educational Administration and Planning, and Bachelor degree in Education and Islamic Studies in Nigeria. Dr. Mujahid has also completed his 2nd PhD in Educational Management and Planning from Uganda and also has post-graduate diplomas in Psychology and Project Management. He has been Involved greatly in mentoring and coaching youth on issues of entrepreneurship.

Sumayya Hassan

Former CEO, National Oil Corporation, Founder Azure Energy.

Sumayya’s 19 years’ experience combines commercial legal experience with executive experience in the oil & gas sectors in Kenya. Sumayya served as the CEO of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya, a state owned petroleum company. Sumayya is an Eisenhower Fellow and has received several local and international awards including the Top 40 Under 40, Lifetime Achievement, Best CEO in Kenya and Outstanding Women Leadership Awards as well as honorary membership to the Geological Society of Kenya for her leadership in Kenya's oil & gas exploration sector. Ms. Hassan is a keynote speaker and trainer at national and international fora on oil & gas, leadership and governance. She has initiated various programs for the economic empowerment of youth and women and is now, the Patron of the Muslim Deaf Association of Kenya, also focusing on empowerment of the deaf and hearing impaired. Sumayya founded Azure Energy Limited which provides advisory services in the oil & gas sectors. Sumayya is also the founder of GFunze Limited an e-learning platform which offers technical as well as vocational programs.
